Thoughts

There Will Come a Time. There will come a time, some other morrow, When we are less bowed down with sorrow. Then we will smile and laugh again, As we recall those past times when, We shared some special family day, Or simply whiled the hours away, Quietly contented just to be, Within each others company. L.McGowan (written by Laurence, Stella’s brother-in-law)

Adrian was an inspiration for me, and of course for many others. He took every opportunity to explore and understand the world, and his intellectual curiosity and capacity were remarkable, among his many fine qualities. He will remain a role model for me always, and I’m thinking of him today from Delhi, and all the stories he had about living in India. Sending condolences and huge hugs to all the family and friends.

My Dearest Adrian, having met by chance 7 years ago, we became friends and I shall greatly cherish the time spent with you on our walks in Primrose Hill, Belsize Park and Hampstead and long, very long, conversations at The Washington on England's Lane. You were to me an inspiration on so many fronts: politics, philosophy, geography and, of course, Brexit! I will never forget your passion during the demonstrations we attended, not to mention the hand made banner you designed. Like you, I have travelled and lived across the globe and met lots and lots of people. You were special, truly special and I shall miss you dearly.
